Return of Negroes who have been admitted into Melville Island, on proof of their having been in distress, or in Sickness with the approbation of His Excellency Sir. J. Sherbrooke G.C.B. the Lieutenant Governor, in Council, the Commissioners of the Poor having refused to Consider them as transient Paupers Entitled to the benefits of their Poor Laws, Between the 27 October 1815 and 26th January 1816.
