Sir,
I now enclose you for the consideration of His Excellency the Lieut. [Lieutenant] Governor all the Tenders which have been received by me, being three in number for a new Contract for Victualling the Refugee Negroes at Melville Island,
When His Excellency has approved of which tender shall be revived, will He be pleased to say [illegible?] the Bond for the faithful performance, shall be the same as for the present Contract which is, the Contractor, and To H. H. Cogswell Esquire Provincial Secretary Halifax
