Halifax July 21st: 1815
Sir,
A contract being advertised for the supply of the Refugee Negroes at Melville Island - with Provisions & other necessaries - The particular Articles for the use of teh Sick not being specified I beg have to offer - to supply such Medicines, Hospital Necessaries, etc. of every description as may be occassionally required on the same terms or I have been in the habit of supplying His Majesty's Naval and Military Hospitals at this place or, by an allowance of such rate per cent on the prime Cost, as may hereafter be considered adequate by any competent Board, His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor and Council may thing proper to appoint.
I have a considerable quantity of the above Articles and my object being more the disposal of the Same than with the view of any great Profit I am induced to offer them on such terms - as I am convinced with the attended with a very considerable saving to Government.
Every Article will be warranted of the most genuine Quality - several of the Medicines at a lower rate than they can be imported - and the supplies [furnished?] in such quantities as may from time to time be required by the Medical Attendant
