by the power and authority to me given & Granted by His Majesty, Hereby appoint you the said Lieutenant John Clarkson to take all and every of the said Transports together with said Black People on board them, into your care and Charge, and to Convoy them, as soon as May, from this Port to Sierra Leona, and there to Land and deliver them over to The Governor or Chief Person in the Administration Government together with all and any thing which may may remain of what has been provided for them by Government. And also their property.
And you are Hereby Authorized to give such Orders and make such Regulations as shall appear to you fit and proper for keeping together the seasonal changes conducting them safely during their voyage and [illegible sentence in crease of document] Health of the Passengers according to the Tenor of the Several Charter Parties. And firstly to do what shall appear to you necessary on any extraordinary Exigency which may arise
