Nova Scotia Halifax 6th, February 1792 this is to Certify to the Right Honourable the Lords Commisioners of His Majesty's Treasury, that there is now due to Michael Wallace Esquire of Halifax merchant appointed by the late Lieutenant Governor (agreeable to the order of the Right Honourable Henry Dundas one of his majesty's principal secretaries of state) agent for the Black People destined for Sierra Leona a further sum of Three Thousand Pounds sterling for account of expences incurred by him in removeing such black people from their different settlements to Halifax in order to their embarcation and also towards the payment of Provisions purchased by him for their use during the passage and other incidental expences incurred at Halifax.--
