Know all men by these presents that I Philip Tidmarsh of Halifax in the county of Halifax and Province of Nova Scotia Gentleman for and in consideration of an assurance and promise made to me by His Excellency Sir John Sherbrooke G.C.B Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia that two hundred acres of said forest or wild lands in this province should be granted to me Have granted conveyed released and confirmed unto our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God King and his heirs and successors and by these presents so grant convey release and confirm unto our said Sovereign Land the King his heirs and Successors all the following lots or parcels of land situate in Preston in the County of Halifax and Province aforesaid [illegible] a certain lot or [illegible] of land described on the General plan as situate lying and being in the [illegible] of Preston [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] as follows [illegible] Beginning at the Southwestern angle of a [tract?] of land belonging to the [Estate] of the [illegible] [illegible] from thence [illegible] [easterly?] along the line of said land three hundred and twenty [illegible] or until [it?] comes to the [Western?] side line of lands late the property of the Honorable Michael Wallace [illegible] by him relinquished for the use of the People of Color thence Southerly the course of said line fifty [illegible] or until of comes to the Northern side line of the tendered lot No. twenty six three hundred [illegible] or
