This Indenture, made the twenty seventh day of January, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and sixteen, between The Reverend William Cochran, of Windsor, in the County of Hants, in the Province of Nova Scotia, Doctor in Divinity, of the one [illegible], and Isaac Fitchet and Sergeant Pelotte, both of Windsor.
Aforesaid, of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of ten shillings of lawful money of the Province aforesaid by the said Isaac Fitchlet and Sergeant Pelotte. severally and respectively paid to the said William Cochran, at or before the ensealing or delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said William Cochran hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, [illegible] and confirmed, and by these presents Doth grant, bargain, sell, alien [illegible], and confirm unto the said Isaac Fitchet and Sergeant Pelotte respectively, and their Heirs and [illegible], forever, the following Lots and parcels of Land, with all and singular their appurtenanced, that is to say, unto the said Isaac Fitchet the lot number One, unto the said Sergeant Pellotte the Lot number Two. which said two lots of land are part and parcel of a tract of Land situated lying and being in the township of Windsor aforesaid, upon the south west side of the great road leading from Windsor to Halifax and commonly known by the name of Lot Number Six, and are bounded as follows [illegible]: Lot number one beginning at upon the great road aforesaid, at the North West corner of the lot of land belonging to Patrick McMullen, and running thence south west along the said McMullen's land, twenty chains, of four rods each, thend North West five chains, thence, North east Twenty chains, or until it meets the great road aforesaid; thence along the said road to the place first mentioned. Lot number two to be in at the Southwest corner of Lot No1. thence South West along the said Mcmullens land, twenty chains, thence Northwest five chains, thence North east twenty chains; thence Southeast five chains to the place of beginning; containing ten acres respectively.
And also all Housed, authoused, Buildings, Woods, Underwoods Ways, Waters, Watercoursed, Easements, profits, commodities, and appurtenanced whatsoever, to the said two Lots of Land or premised belonging or in any wise appertaining, or to or with the same usually occupied or enfoyed or accepted, reputed, taken or known as part parcel or
