Know all [illegible] by these presents that I the Honorable Michael Wallace of Halifax in the County of Halifax and Province of Nova Scotia [Esqre?] for and in consideration of an [assurance?] and [promise?] made to me by His Excellency Sir John C. Sherbrooke G.C.A Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia that Five hundred acres of the Forest or Wild Lands in this Province should be granted to me, Have granted conveyed released and confirmed unto our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God King [be?] his heirs and Successors and by these presents do grant convey release and confirm unto our said Sovereign Lord the King his heirs and Successors. All the following lot or parcel of land situate lying and being in Preston and known on the general
