Dear Sir
Enclosed you have the Orders relating to the Acadians whose behaviour requires a check from the Government; they have in solemn terms, delivered in a memorial, declar'd their resolution of adherence to the french king; & required to be furnished with provisions & transports to carry them to Cape Francois to which place they say they are [reclaimed?] by the Count D'Estain the Lieut. General of the french Leeward Islands. -- this is very insolent. Our best Compliments to Mrs Deschamps, yours R.B.
