Identified in Merkel & MacAskill, Schooner Bluenose (1948), as 'Coming up to Inner Automatic Buoy, First Elimination Race' (1921); and in MacAskill, Out of Halifax (1937) as "Racing for the Buoy: A fair wind, a fine day, and the mark in sight!'
