Article published in The Maritime Merchant, at the time of Bluenose's departure for Chicago. Captain, officers and crew each sported formal uniforms, plus "a suit of Stanfield's finest summer underwear. Chicago is a hot place in the summer weather, and the gift…will be appreciated."
