Health Office, at Halifax,
August 23, 1816

I hereby certify that I have made the Enquiry and Examination required by Law, in the Case, and on the arrival of the Brig Ceres from Charleston, South Carolina now laying below George's Island, alias Fort Charlotte; and that I do find the said Brig and the people on board Healthy, and that they may be admitted to the Wharves without the least danger of spreading any infectious distemper whatever.
