Whereas a certain lot of land on the road to Halifax about fourteen miles from Windsor was conveyed to me by deed of James Cuppaidge Cochran, under certain conditions, and particularly that I should settle upon and cultivate the same and not absent myself at any time more than one year from the same These are to certify and declare that I have deserted and abandoned the said lot since the 20th day of April last, and that I do not intend to return to the same, and that I hereby acquit the said James Cuppaidge Cochrane and all others concerned from any claim or title that I may have had to the claim.
