Whereas a certain lot of Land 14 miles from Windsor [illegible] was conveyed containing 10 acres was conveyed to me by {the Rev?} Dr. Cochran on conditions of my clearing the whole of the said lot within 7 years from the date of the (illegible)Deed _ and whereas I have not so cleared it and am desirous of leaving it. Therefore, ? in consideration of Four pounds to be paid to me by the (illegible) Dr. Cochran at the time of quitting the place. I hereby resign and make over unto him all my right title and interest unto the said lot, and engage to leave it on or before the 1 if October next, and to leave the house and other buildings in good (illegible) as they now stand.
