By His Excellency the Right Hon ble the Earl of Dahlhousie's warrant on Defs [illegible] Gen l George Damerum dated 8th March 1818.

Halifax 8th April 1818 J Richard Inglis do acknowledge to have received from his Excellency the Right Hon able the Earl of Dalhousie [illegible] warrant on the [illegible] at this [illegible] for the sum of sixty two pounds fifteen shillings and eight pence Currency being the Amount of the annexed Abstract of Disbursements for which I have Signed Triplicate receipts of the same tenor and date to serve as one.

This [illegible] Richard Ingis voluntarily make the oath that the whole of the charges in the annexed Account Amounts to Sixty two pounds fifteen Shillings and eight pence Currency are just and true and that the Parties were paid for the services therin stated, and for no other purpose whatever
