General Abstract of Expenses incurred for the Negroe Establishments

By His Excellency Lieut. Genl. the Right Hon'ble George Earl of Dalhousie Baron Dahoasie of Dalhousie Castle Knights Grand Cross of the Most Hon'ble Military order of the Bath Lieutenant Governor Commander in Chief in sover His Majesty's Province of Nova Scotia fits Dependencies L L L
It is hereby certified that the within and foregoing Page in the original Abstract of the accounts vouchers Exhibited by the Collector of His Majesty's Customs at Halifax for the expenses incurred in providing for Refugee Negroes between teh 27th April and 26th July 1816 inclusive amounting to [100?] hundred and eleven pounds four shillings and & eleven pence Stirling which accounts were yesterday payed in Council in Halifax to discharge which accounts I have drawn a dett of Bills of Exchange as stated in the annexed abstract.
Given under my Hand & Seal at armsat Halifax this 23d day of January 1817 in the 5th year of His Majesty's Reign.
