For the under mentioned expenses incurred for one of the refugee negroes
who died on his way to [Newport?]

To cash paid for a nursing and bleeding above mentioned negroe
One [illegible] supplies ditto
a coffin and a priest
Recieved payment of Mr Richard Best
Deputy of [illegible] No. Jeffery esq Collector of her majesty customs at this port
