Wentworth report on the Maroons

In this report Wentworth evinces some optimism for the Maroons as they had survived the long winter. Yet, Wentworth believed that the Maroons were naturally inclined to expect "an exemption from labour." This attitude toward the Maroons was prevalent among white government officials.
