David George's lease and passports, 1779-1781

Lease to David George ("a free Negro man") of property at Savannah, Georgia, 11 December 1779. Also passports for George signed by various Georgia officials, 1 January 1780, 9 November 1781; one of these includes his wife Phyllis and their three children, Jesse, David and Ginny, also free. George, a Loyalist who afterwards emigrated to Sierra Leone, was the founder of the African Baptist Church in Nova Scotia.
