Barrington 18th July 1834

We do hereby certify that full and sufficient proof has been given to us the subscribers that Mesr. Hitchens and Crowell have had two able bodied men employed by them on the Seal Island for the year 1833 for the purpose of assisting
this wrecked Mariners and saving lives and property that may be cast on that island.
