This is to Certify unto whom it may Concern, that the Bearer John Stevens, has rendered every assistance in his power, in the Preservation of the Lives and Property from the Two Wrecks; the Schooner Isabella on the 14th of January 1847, and the Ship Levant on the 3rd of August 1847, the Crews & Materials of both vessels were Saved;

As Witness my hand at Sable Island this 29th Day of December, in the year of our Lord 1847
