This is to Certify unto whom it may Concern that the Bearer James Clye; has rendered every assistance in his power in saving the Crews and Materials of Two Wrecks in the present year, per the Schooner Isabella on the 14th of January 1847, and the Ship Levant on the 3rd of August 1847, in which cases the whole of the Crews and Materials were Saved;

As Witness my hand at Sable Island this 29th Day of December 1847
