Knight Commander of the Most Honorable Military Order of the Bath, Knight Commander of the Royal Hanoverian Guelphic Order, Lieutenant-Governor and Commander in Chief, in and over Her Majesty's Province of Nova-Scotia, and its Dependencies, &c. &c. &c.}

{To the Treasurer of the Province}

{You are hereby required to pay unto} the Commissioners for Sable island four hundred and ninety five pounds eleven shillings and one penny ^currency being the proceeds of a bill of exchange for four hundred pounds sterling drawn by me on the Lords Commissioners of H M Treasury for that amount voted by Parliament towards the support of ^the Sable island Humane Establishment for the year ended 31 March 1846

{out of the Provincial Revenue appropriated for the support of Her Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of the Province, and in so doing this shall be your Warrant.}

{Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms at Halifax, this} 13th {day of} April {in the} 10th {Year of Her Majesty's Reign, Annoque Domini 184} 7.
