We the undersigned two of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Halifax being called upon, by the Commissioners of Sable Island and the Agents for the Owners of the Brig Triumph lately wrecked on the said Island, to arbitrate and decide on the amount of salvage to be paid to the said Commissioners, having attentively considered the statements made by the parties interested, do Award that the sum of Forty pounds Halifax Currency be paid to the said Commissioners for Sable Island, and that the residue or sum of One hundred and nine pounds five shillings and three pence be paid to the Agents for the owners of the said Brig Triumph.

Witness our Hands at Halifax this sixth day of January 1842.
