The Petition of James Barron, a
Refugee Negroe located on Mr. Jeffery's
Lands, most humbly therwith
That your Memorialist on
the 24' [ultimo?] experienced a
most distressing affliction
in Consequence of his Hut
having Accidentally taken
fire by which Catastrophe
his Child with [part?]
of his Provisional & Clothing
were
