Clam Bay is a community situated on the Loop Road between Lake Charlotte and Clam Harbour. In 1799, Clam Bay was settled by members of the Webber family who collectively purchased the land, which had been farmed earlier from at least 1776. The Webbers were Loyalists from South Carolina and arrived in the area in 1783, first settling at Ship Harbour. Shown here on the property of Hiram and Nellie (Morash) Webber is one of their daughters.
