Children's Parade

Acadian colours... 20th Chez-nous à Pombcoup, West Pubnico Acadian Festivals.

This festival was and still is an opportunity to celebrate the community’s Acadian culture, for people of all ages. The program usually consisted of a children’s parade, music, games, church services, food, family reunions and gatherings, etc. For the past 40 years, the local Acadian festival has been called Chez-nous à Pombcoup and it has been celebrated during the days around July 17, the founding date of the Barony of Pobomcoup, in 1653.
