view page 1 2

Showing Louis T. E. Amirault’s Tailor Shop & Sharples Cream Seperators. This Tailor Shop was situated next to the house of Ulysses and Lorette d’Entremont’s house in West Pubnico, NS which is now demolished.

Built before 1900, the owners were George Shand (1900), Louis Thadée Amirault (1912) and Siffroi d’Entremont (1928).

The building was first located on William (Frère) d’Entremont’s land. It served as a packing house office for George Shand. It was bought by Louis T. Amirault in 1912 and hauled next to the tailor’s building, and used for storage.

In 1928, Siffroi d’Entremont purchased it and had it hauled to his property in the “Ville du Ouest,” opposite his father Eugène d’Entremont’s residence. The building has since disappeared.
