Head Jeddore is situated along Highway 7 and thus saw many travellers. The homestead pictured here still stands today, and is over 100 years old. It belonged to Isaac and Eunice Blakeney, and in later years their son Ralph and his wife Clara (Myers). Clara ran the "Blakeney House" as an inn during the 1940s, which included a cottage on the property and saw many travellers stop for a night's rest.
