Head Chezzetcook, located at the head of Chezzetcook Inlet where extensive salt marshes are edged by Highway 107 was once a stopping place on the postal coach route from Dartmouth. Pictured here is a bend in the old "Highway 7" at Redmond Settlement, looking east with a fertile drumlin in the background. This picture was taken as part of a walking tour made by an unknown photographer in the early 1930s.
