On November 5, 1913, the cornerstone for a new Bridgewater school was laid. Designed by architect Andrew R. Cobb, one of Atlantic Canada’s foremost architects, the modern school cost $60,000 and occupied the Queen and York Street block until the building was demolished in 1993.
