DesBrisay Museum, Bridgewater

Born in Scotland, Andrew Gow, Sr. (1838-1883) migrated with his parents to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. In the fall of 1858, Gow soon acquired a prominent position in Bridgewater’s commercial community and the Gow family name continues in the current hardware store.
