DesBrisay Museum, Bridgewater

Robert Hunter foundry workers, Victoria Road

Bridgewater Foundry was built around 1864 on Victoria Road, Bridgewater. Robert Hunter (1817-1906) acquired it around the 1870s and operated it until 1914 as a carpentry shop. The company also made iron parts for farm implements. Photography by A.E. Rhodes.
