Gaelic Song

The Mount St Bernard Gaelic Choir had its beginnings in 1947 and was composed of girls of Junior and High school age receiving musical training at MSB.

The choir is under the direction of Sister St Mary Paula; accompanied by St Michael of the Eucharist; spoken introduction is provided by Sister St Veronica. On the chosen selection Beverly MacDonald is the soloist.

The Museum has a collection of LP albums and 38s produced under the Celtic Label featuring the traditional style fiddle, piano and Gaelic music of this region.
