Musée Église Sainte-Marie Museum, Church Point

Bain-sur-Ouse, France

The church from which the present church was modeled in Bain sur Ouse, France, Father Dagnaud’s hometown. Note that this church does not have the spires flanking the steeple. It is assumed that these spires were added to increase the footprint of the wooden steeple structure to make it more stable.

Date: [ca. 1900]
