Pubnico Tercentenary Celebrations (1651–1951) The arch at Pont du Marais bridge

Pubnico Tercentenary Celebrations

It was on August 29, 1651, that Philippe Mius d’Entremont came to settle in Pubnico. To commemorate this event, large celebrations were held in Pubnico in 1951. While the Pubnico Tercentenary Celebrations were being organized, money was distributed for various projects. Money was allocated to build arches at strategic locations in the village.
