In the 1960's horse, wagon, man and dog went for the mail or went to the store. John T. Mac Lean is the man. Pictured is his home, once The Trout River Hotel, which hosted folks who came from Sydney on the boat. The Mac Lean's met people at the boat and took them to Lake Ainslie.
