DesBrisay Museum, Bridgewater

The Bridgewater Citizen’s Band was formed in 1868 and was attached firstly to the 68th Kings County Regiment. The Citizen’s Band formally ended in 1952 when the Bridgewater Fire Department assumed the assets of the band and formed a firemen’s band. The band continues to play at concerts and for special events around Bridgewater.
