Boating on the LaHave River at Bridgewater

Boating was a prime recreational activity in Bridgewater and owning a boat was somewhat of a status symbol. The LaHave River was a busy place for taking an afternoon cruise during hot weather. Arkanas Wile (1861-1925) had a pleasure boat that he enjoyed cruising along the LaHave River.
