Yarmouth County Museum and Archives

Cosmos Cotton Mill was originally the Yarmouth Duck & Yarn Co. and later would become Dominion Textile Inc. until its closure in 199. From 1883 to 1991, the cotton mill was Yarmouth's primary large-scale industry, providing the most jobs for Yarmouth residents and playing a crucial role in the area’s economy. These notices to employees show the care and respect management had for their staff and the day to day operations.
