Yarmouth County Museum and Archives

Lumbering was a huge industry for Yarmouth County, creating countless jobs and increasing the area’s economy. Shown in this photograph is the Lumbermen’s Association of Western Nova Scotia at a Tusket sawmill on May 30th, 1907.
