The Pelton Journal was a monthly magazine started in 1902 by a 14 and 15 year old and continues to this day to be the only monthly magazine every published in Yarmouth. Mostly all the items in the journal were written by the young editors. This journal represents the resourcefulness and drive the people of Yarmouth have. Despite their young ages, these two boys set out to create a difference in their community by providing news and stories for the residents.
