Yarmouth County Museum and Archives

Collins Street boast a very impressive collection of ship captain and ship owner’s homes. These homes can be viewed in person by taking part in the self-guided walking tour of Yarmouth. Seeing the detailed architecture of these homes, with their widow’s walks, stain glass windows and ornate decors, you can easily picture the days gone by of the prominent shipping industry of Yarmouth and has helped shape the landscape of the area.
