The completed interior of the church. Note the crystal chandelier which had been brought over from the old church. At that time the church had no electricity so almost 200 candles on the chandeliers had to be lit by hand prior to mass. Note also the grate in the middle of the floor. This is above one of three wood furnaces which the men in the parish took turns stoking starting Saturday afternoon and through the night so there would be heat for Sunday morning mass.
