Men's Bonspiel

Western Counties 5th Bonspiel at Middleton, February 4th-6th, 1931. The old arena was used for both hockey and curling until the Curling Club built its own facility. A Bonspiel is a curling tournament held over a weekend. Until the 20th century most bonspiels were held outdoors, on a frozen freshwater lake. Though it is not mandatory, curling teams at bonspiels often wore themed costumes.
