MacDonald House Museum, Lake Ainslie

Pioneer

Pioneer Hugh Campbell and wife, Jean (Hamilton) came to Lake Ainslie ca. 1820, erected and ran a grist mill, and raised a large family. In church and community, being able to read and write, he became a leader in the community.
