Tradition Bearer Joe Neil MacNeil receives the Award of Merit from Baille nan Gàidheal |Highland Village. Perhaps better known in the world of Gaelic lore by his patronymic Eòs Nìll Bhig, his endless stock of stories and anecdotes attracted the attention of Celticists and folklorists from Scotland, Ireland and North America, who traveled to Cape Breton to record his repertoire.
