Donald MacLeod lived in the first farm in Cain’s Mountain, Cape Breton, on the end of the Walker Road. He owned and operated a farm, saw mill, threshing mill, wood cutting mill, and grain crusher. He also had an orchard, cranberry bog, and rhubarb patch. He sold the produce using an old Model T Ford.
