Sharing the language with our children

Feis Day Camp at Legion Hall. A Féis (faysh) is a community-based festival designed to promote the Gaelic language and culture of an area. The annual Féis An Eilein in Christmas Island, Cape Breton, holds workshops in Gaelic language and song and other Gaelic arts. A two day Gaelic Activities Camp for youth is held each year. This image is of the Youth Camp and has students who are learning language from fluent speakers.
