Paddling from Potlotek to Montreal for Expo 67
June 1967, 15 Mi’kmaw paddlers embarked on a historic thousand-mile, 31 day journey from Potlotek (Chapel Island) to Montreal in two nineteen-foot war canoes to mark Canada’s centennial celebrations.
